How to Order
Small numbers of some items such as keyrings are often available from stock but most designs are made to order. If you see something you’d like on the website, contact me either by email (using the Contact page on the site) or by telephone on 07889 006953 and I will advise on options, prices and delivery times. For one-off and bespoke designs please contact me and I would be happy to discuss your individual requirements.
Postage & Packing
All items are supplied in an appropriate hard presentation box free of charge. Postage and packing charges will be advised at the time of ordering but a standard charge of £8.50 covers most items for postage within the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery. For overseas orders, charges will be advised on request.
All stock items must be paid for in full when ordering. For made-to-order items a deposit of 50% of the total amount payable is required once the order is accepted and the balance must be paid in full prior to despatch. Payments may be made by cheque or by debit or credit card via PayPal. This system uses cutting-edge data encryption technology to the highest level available and is designed to protect both the customer (that’s you) and the seller (me) from fraud and other issues such as non-delivery.
Stock items are usually despatched within 24 hours once payment is received. All jewellery is sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery and you will be advised of tracking details once the item has been despatched. Delivery times for made-to-order designs will naturally be longer and will depend on individual circumstances but an estimated delivery date will be given at the time of ordering. Where required, for example with wedding rings or gifts, a “guaranteed by” delivery date will be provided.
During Royal Mail strike action alternative courier services are used to ensure that delivery times and security are maintained.
Your card details and personal data is used solely for the purpose of completing specific orders and is not shared with any other party. NO FINANCIAL DATA IS RETAINED OR STORED BY BEATON & SHOTT.
I aim to provide 100% customer satisfaction – my business depends upon it. Any orders for stock items may be returned for a full refund in the event that your expectations are not met or exceeded (postage and packing charges excluded) provided the item is unworn and in it’s original condition. In the event that you should require a refund for a stock item please contact me within 24 hours of receipt. For health & safety reasons, earrings must be excluded from this policy.
Made-to-order items are generally non-returnable so it is important that I understand exactly what your requirements are. All designs for bespoke made-to-order items must be agreed and accepted by you prior to the item being made. Bespoke orders may be cancelled at any time prior to the item being made.
All workmanship is guaranteed and any defects will of course be repaired free of charge. Should an item become damaged or worn over time or subjected to unreasonable wear and tear and consequently damaged, repairs can usually be carried out for a charge (which will be advised upon assessment). If an item is intended for occasional use only, this will made clear in the item description and also at the time of ordering.
