This classically designed ring features a stunning natural emerald cabochon set in 9ct yellow gold, accentuated with solid gold balls in the style of ancient Roman jewellery.

More often than not emeralds are heat-treated or oil-injected to improve their appearance, but this certified stone is a rare find…a natural beauty!  Emeralds have been a symbol of wealth and abundance throughout history, set into crowns and royal regalia around the world.  Known as a stone that promotes successful and abundant love, health, infinite patience and wealth, it’s no wonder that the emerald is a popular choice for engagement rings.

Please be aware that some soap, detergents and antibacterial sanitiser can react with metal and gemstones to cause discolouration.

Emeralds are considered to be quite durable, they are however technically softer than other gemstones generally used in jewellery, rating 7.5-8 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, just behind rubies & sapphires at 9 and diamonds at 10.  They are fine for everyday wear but care should be taken to avoid banging these stones against hard surfaces as they can be chipped or scratched.

Accidents do happen – but do not despair!  Should your emerald sustain some damage, or if you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sizing & Delivery Information

Ring sizers should be universal, however they can differ  – they shouldn’t…but they can.  To save delays and/or disappointment we prefer, wherever possible, to check your ring size using our own sizers.  If time allows, please order a ring sizer which we will send out to you straight away with full instructions.  Once we have your size we can go ahead and re-size or make your ring.  If this is not feasible, for example, if the ring is a surprise gift for someone else, then we will need to proceed based on the information you supply.  In these cases we cannot accept responsibility for any sizing issues, however we will be happy to re-size any ring after purchase although this may incur a small charge.

This ring is available for immediate despatch in size L (delivery in 1-3 days).
